Concordus delivers quality, clinically rich health care information in such a way that our technology information services raises the standard of care, improves access to care, and makes care more affordable. We seek to modernize the delivery and management of health care information in two key areas.
Our information infrastructure fosters a team approach between health care stakeholders as we, the information technology partner, provide information that benefits all. This health information data source provides clinical and claims data to health plans, health record companies (HIEs, EMRs, PHRs, etc.) along with a public interface to agencies such as the state/public HIEs, CDC, Medicaid, Medicare, Vital Statistics FDA, etc., and finally a global research interface with pharmaceutical companies, universities and others.
Our functional enterprise wide infrastructure for connectivity extends health care data to all health care stakeholders. Applications using health care data available to providers working from the same data platform means that patients and providers can utilize software tools and applications that are far superior for equipping them to make critical health care decisions.
The U.S. Federal government currently spends more on health care than on Social Security and national defense combined, the next most expensive items, but Americans get the right treatment only 55 percent of the time.
